The Contacts+ Composer feature is designed to help you stay connected with your contacts effortlessly. Using AI, the Composer feature can draft customer messages, making it quick and easy to communicate via email, SMS/text, or WhatsApp.

BEFORE GETTING STARTED
- The composer feature is available in the iOS app and Web application.
- Currently, it is not available on the Android app.
- The Composer will default to the contact's preferred method of communication, if applicable, as indicated by the star ribbon icon.
- Additionally, the message type will vary based on the contact's information. For example, the SMS option will only be available if the contact has a phone number.
- When using the Composer feature in the iOS App, you can save the message as a Private/Dated note in the contact's profile.
- Messages composed in the web application will not have the option to be saved as a Private/dated note.
- Contacts+ cannot track whether the message is actually sent using email, SMS, or WhatsApp, as these actions occur in external applications beyond our system's reach.

The Composer feature can be accessed from the contact's profile and the Composer tab in the Assistant section.

How to use the Composer feature
To start using the composer app, follow the instructions below. The steps or screens may vary by app version; below, you'll find steps for each available option.
Contact Profile
- Open the contact profile and click on the Send Message icon.
- Select the message type. Options may vary based on the contact's available data.

- Messenger
- Select the message Category.
- Happy Birthday
- Connection Follow-Up
- Schedule Meeting
- Meeting Recap
- Check-In
- Select the message Tone.
- Professional
- Formal
- Friendly
- Casual
- Provide additional context about the recipient. Use this section to personalize your message. For example, "Need to further discuss training needs and automation features."
- Preview the composed message; you can Regenerate the message or click Send Message.
- You can also modify previously selected options, such as Message Type, Category, Tone, and any additional context. After you change the options, click on Generate Message to see the newly composed message.

- When done, click Send Message. The Composer will pre-populate the message in your messaging application.
- After clicking on Send Message, a summary of your message will be saved as a Private Note in the contact's profile.
- Any changes made in your messaging application will not be reflected in your Contacts+ Account.

- From your account, click on Assistant, and then select the Composer option.
- Start typing the name of a contact, and select the contact you want to message.
- Select the message type. Options may vary based on the contact's available data.
